LEAVEN Community Meals
begin today!

This fall, Leaven is hosting a series of community meals — a chance for neighbors to gather around the table, share good food, and build meaningful connections. These meals are open to all, donation-only, and rooted in the belief that everyone belongs.

We need volunteers to help make these meals possible! Whether you love greeting folks at the door, chopping veggies in the kitchen, or serving food with a smile, there’s a place for you.

Leaven is seeking volunteers to fill these roles beginning October 29:

• Meal Coordinator - Plan, purchase, and support a team of volunteers to prepare a meal for 30–40 community members. You’ll be reimbursed for food costs up to $150. Time commitment: 3:00–6:00 pm on your chosen Wednesday.

• Food Prep & Setup Volunteer - Assist the Meal Coordinator with chopping, cooking, and setting up tables before the meal. Time commitment: 3:00–5:30 pm.

• Greeter - Welcome guests as they arrive, help them feel at home, invite folks to sign in and donate for their meals, and share basic info about the meal and Leaven Community. Time commitment: 5:00-7:30 pm.

• Food Serving & Cleanup Volunteer - Serve dinner to neighbors and wash dishes, wipe tables, and put the kitchen back in order. Time commitment: 5:00–7:30 pm.
